Duties & Taxes
International orders may be subject to Government import taxes on arrival.
Import duties and taxes vary from country to country and are set by your local Government. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not collected by Renew Bohemian. We recommend checking your country’s customs policies before placing your order to avoid any surprises. You'll also find reminders of this at checkout.
If a parcel is refused due to unpaid duties or taxes and returned to us, the following will apply:
- A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
- Orders that qualified for free shipping (orders over AUD250) will have the applicable shipping cost deducted from the refund, as we are not able to absorb carrier costs for refused parcels
USA Orders
Due to recent changes in US import laws, tariffs now apply to goods entering the United States. At checkout, you will see the applicable tariff combined with your shipping cost.
All US parcels are sent using DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping. This means any duties collected at checkout are paid before your parcel arrives - no unexpected invoices at delivery.
Shipping
All Renew Bohemian orders are packed and shipped from Australia with care.
Please allow 2–3 business days for processing before dispatch.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. We ship with Australia Post, which we’ve found to be reliable and competitively priced.
You’ll receive a tracking email once your order is on its way.
We kindly ask that you double-check your delivery details before completing your purchase. Once a parcel has been lodged with the carrier, it is outside our direct control. Original shipping costs are non-refundable

Free domestic shipping on orders over AU$200 (after discounts), excluding wholesale orders.
Tracking details are emailed once dispatched. You can track via the link provided or directly through Australia Post.
- Tracked AirMail (approx. 6–10 business days)
- Free international shipping on orders over AU$250 (excludes customs fees where applicable), excluding wholesale orders.
Occasionally parcels may be delayed due to customs processing or local postal services. We’ve been shipping worldwide since 2008, and while delays can happen, lost parcels are rare.
Once your order arrives in your country, you can continue tracking using the same tracking number via your local postal service (for example, USPS in the US or Royal Mail in the UK).
Please note: We are not responsible for delays caused by customs or local postal services.
Shipping Protection (optional)
Shipping Protection is an optional add-on available at checkout. It provides cover if your parcel is lost or stolen while in transit.
Because every Renew Bohemian piece is one-of-a-kind, replacement isn’t always possible. Shipping Protection ensures you’re not left out of pocket if your order doesn’t arrive safely. Where appropriate, we’ll offer a refund or store credit so you can choose another piece.
We think of it as a little extra peace of mind for those rare (but frustrating) moments when things go wrong.
How Does the Claim Process Work?
If your package is lost or stolen:

The more information you can provide, the faster we can assess your claim.
We’ll review your claim, work with the carrier where needed, and keep you updated throughout the process. Resolutions may vary depending on the circumstances.
Parcels marked as “Delivered” by the carrier but not received will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and may require a carrier investigation.
Timelines
- Claims can be submitted once the carrier confirms a parcel is lost (timeframes vary by country and carrier)
- Claims for parcels marked “Delivered” must be filed within 5 days of the delivery scan
- International investigations may take up to 30 business days
- Domestic (Australia) investigations may take up to 15 business days
What Shipping Protection Covers

Resolutions may include refund or store credit depending on the situation and item availability.
