If you’ve been part of the Renew community for a while, you’ll know that change is something we approach thoughtfully. Slowly. With a lot of care. This refresh is no different.
Renew was originally born as Re:new Vintage, back in 2008 when Brooke was sourcing and selling vintage clothing, giving beautiful pre-loved pieces a second life. That early passion for vintage is where our name came from, and it shaped the values that still guide us today.
As the brand grew, so did our focus. What began with vintage slowly evolved into a deeper commitment to reclaimed textiles, slow fashion and mindful design. Along the way, something really special happened. A community formed around shared values of sustainability, creativity, individuality, and doing things a little differently. We’re endlessly grateful for the support, trust and encouragement that has brought us to this point.
Over time, we’ve spent a lot of energy reflecting on how we show up in the world. Sustainability has never been a trend for us. It’s always been at the core of what we do. From working with recycled kantha and silks, to creating small runs of wearable, long-lasting pieces using sustainable fabrics, our goal has always been to reduce textile waste and honour the materials we work with.
The shift to Renew Bohemian feels like a more accurate reflection of who we are today. It allows us to grow with intention and creates room to expand our ranges while staying true to our values. You’ll already see this evolution in our recently released Stonewashed Kantha, Sari Cotton and Pashmina Collections, and soon in our upcoming Bohemian Basics range, designed to sit alongside our kantha and silk pieces as everyday staples you can reach for again and again.
We’re also so excited to share our brand new bespoke website. Designed with ease and enjoyment in mind, it includes thoughtful features like wish lists, improved navigation, enhanced filtering to help you find your size and preferred materials more easily, and a smoother shopping experience overall, all to make spending time here feel that little bit more effortless.
At the heart of this refresh is the same thing it’s always been. Community. Your support is the reason we get to keep doing this work, refining our approach and building something meaningful. This isn’t about reinventing ourselves. It’s about honouring where we began, staying honest about what we do, and stepping into the next chapter with clarity and heart.
